New commission by Óbuda Danubia Symphony Orchestra is premiered by Benjamin Bayl and the orchestra in November at the Academy of Music, Budapest. The piece is based on Die Kunst der Fuge by J. S. A reinterpretation of J. S. Bach's Partita in G is performed by Horváth (Partita ricostriuita) at the Bartók Memorial House in November by Péter Szűcs, András Szalai and Tamás Zétényi. The date of the concert is in June 06, 2021
Two compositions by Horváth was selected for the Finalof the New Hungarian Music Forum. Both pieces are premiered in October. Tamás Pálfalvi plays the solo part of quasi ciaccona metrica with Ensemble UMZE, and Gregory Vajda conducts the 6th and the 8th movements for orchestra with the Hungarian Radio Symphony Orchestra. The premiere dates are Oct. 10 and 11 as part of CAFe Budapest. The jury gave first prize for the ensemble piece and second prize for the orchestra piece to Horváth.
Ensemble UMZE is conducted by Balázs Horváth at the concert All'Ongherese on Sept. 28. The program consists of pieces by Horváth himself (Férfiszemmel / Női szemmel) and László Sándor, Mátyás Bolya-Samu Gryllus among others. The soloists of the event are Ágnes Herczku, András Szalai, Miklós Lukács, Mátyás Bolya, Balázs Szokolay "Dongó", Helga Debreczeni Kis.
The ensemble version of Werkmusik for beatboxer can be heard on January 17 conducted by the composer at BMC. The concert is part of the Átlátszó Hang Újzenei Fesztivál.
